More rocks...watch out!

Did that rock go farther than the last one?

What am I holding...you got it...a rock!

Nice throw

Almost out of rocks

Words can't express how I feel after I throw a rock into the water.

Labor Day Weekend

We finally arrived home around 11:30 today after a three day trip to the lake. It was a wonderful and relaxing weekend. Some friends of ours from Hallestville were supposed to make the trip, but something came up so our parents each came up a day. Mason enjoyed getting the extra love and attention. Our sight was great...right on the water. Friday night we relaxed and called it an early night. Saturday we went fishing, walking, playing in the dirt, and we even took a nature walk to collect all kinds of rocks. Saturday was spent with Grandma and Grandpa Kleiber. This is the day Mason fell and stratched the skin right around his eye. I never knew he was scared of car alarms until one went off, and then he took off running. He was running toward Grandma and tripped on the pavement. Sunday was more walking, playing, and you know those rocks I told you about...well Mason got a kick out of throwing them in the water. So Sunday afternoon after Popo and Nana left we went on another "rock walk." We had a great time relaxing and spending time together as a family. I hope everyone is doing well...until next time.

Schulenburg Festival

I am finally getting to update some pictures from the Schulenburg Festival. Mason had a wonderful time at the rides, BBQ cook-off, and parade. He went with his buddies (Bryce and Reagan) to the rides and with Mommy and Daddy to the cook-off and parade. It was very hot all weekend long, but we didn't let that stop us from having a good time. Mason started full time at Ms. Keri's this week so I am back at work getting everything ready for a new school year. Our summer travels and adventures are slowly coming to an end. I will try to keep you all updated with events that take place in the near future, but for now I will leave you with some pics from festival weekend.

Camp Jellystone

What a great weekend! Mason had a wonderful time with Reagan and Bryce. We all traveled over to Camp Jellystone oustide of Hempstead in Waller County. The park is filled with fun activities for the kids. Friday we started off by going to the water park...Mason, Reagan, and Bryce loved the slides, then off to play putt-putt. The kids all had to carry around their own ball and putter. Saturday was filled with more water park fun, putt-putt and the Comfyland room. This room was amazing! The kids had a blast. First off it was air condition so what a relief from the heat. It had all kinds of gadgets and goodies for the little ones. They all ran around laughing and trying out the new toys. I will try to post pictures from each part of our fun filled trip. Oh yeah, one more hot spot was the karoake stage. Mason loved the music and lights. He sat in his stroller beating his head back and forth while clapping his hands. Overall, we had a great weekend hanging out with the Stoevers and Duseks. I hope you enjoy the pictures...until next time!

Way Too Busy!!

Well we survived another Camp Kleiber...it was a blast. It all started last weekend when Parker came over on Saturday morning for some fun play time. Mason and Parker had a blast outside, mainly on the swing holding their tractors. After Parker went home we rested and then headed out to Christina and Dave's house for an outside cookout. Alaina and Mason played in the whale pool while the parents were entertained by their silliness. After a great day on Saturday we rested up on Sunday because Camp Kleiber started Sunday evening. My godchild, Jillian, came for the whole week...it was a lot of fun. Mason loved mimicking everything she said. He referred to her as "JJ" and she loved asking him, "What is my name." Wednesday we went to the Art Guild in Fayettville...Thursday we went to Splashway!!! We all had a wonderful time. Mason loved going down the slides and standing under the bucket that spills out water every 45 seconds. It was a great weekend and week, but the fun didn't stop because on Saturday Mason was Ring Bearer for Kimberly and Erich's wedding. He didn't make it all the way down the isle, but that was to be expected. Of course he did great a rehearsal both times, and then on Saturday everything seemed to not go his way. He started out walking down the isle, but then the Flower Girl stopped. As soon as she stopped he looked back at Ryan and started crying...it was all over then. The wedding was beautiful, and he loved running around at the hall. I am sorry Kimberly and Erich if there are no grapes left...that would be because Mason kept running up to the snack table and picking them off the tray. I have posted some pictures of the little fellow...enjoy!!!

Camping Trip

We all survived the hot camping trip with the Weishuhns. It was a lot of fun, and I know Mason enjoyed having Parker there to talk some type of language to. The boys stayed cooled off by jumping in the pool or going up to the sprinkler...they never really ran through it. We enjoyed having the Weishuhns join us for a little relaxation and fun. Of course the only pictures I took were of the boys...they were our entertainment the whole weekend, except Sat. night when the two Ryans and Deric tried to keep the pit going by holding a fan in front of it. I also wanted to add some pictures of Mason and I making play-doh. He watched mommy mix all the ingredients together then he squished his little figures through it. We made all kinds of cut-outs...stars, hearts, leafs, and pumpkins. Enjoy...until next time.

Summer Cleaning

After our morning walk and park play Mason and I decided to do some summer cleaning. We decided to wash our bathing suits out and some other clothes. Shaving cream is a great way to clean hard surfaces, so I decided to let him go at it. He had a ball:) We cleaned his slide, and then I let him slide down. We poured water down the slide which of course made even a bigger mess. I am wore out so thank goodness it is nap time. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed watching him.

Discovering What's Out There

Well, what can I say but HOT, HOT, and more HOT. Finally today and yesterday Mason was able to play outside other than the early morning or late afternoon. We are having a lot of fun this summer just hanging out and eating a ton of snow cones. I guess that is better than ice cream. Our days are busy from playing, library, pool, and hanging out with friends. He was given a sand box, and that has been the joy of his life. Daddy doesn't to much care for it because he can't stand the mess it makes. I told him just to calm down, and he said it would work better if the sand box could go to the grandparent's house. Mason also has his very own little house where he slides down and runs back around about 50 times. Hey whatever makes him wore out for nap time. Nap time has become the best two words in my vocabulary this summer because that is the only time I can get anything done. Speaking about nap time, Mason is napping right now at 4:30 instead of 1:30 because he slept in the car ride home from swimming and was very hyper when we got home. I am trying this blog thing again since it is the summer time. Hopefully, everything works out...until next time.
